Generalized Nets (GNs) are extensions of the Petri nets and their modifications. They are tools for modeling parallel processes. Elements of their theory are given in chapter 2. In chapter 3 the GNs are used for interpreting the basic elements of the informational theory of diseases introduced by Ivan Dimitrov (1940-1998), described shortly in chapter 1. Ideas for GN-modeling of the human body are discussed in chapter 4.
