By means of dialogue and inclusive processes, the programme of International IDEA in Burkina Faso (a west-African state) aims at assessing the cadence of democratic development, widening the choices and improving the performance of national institutions and democratic practitioners and providing advice to international institutions on the allocation of resources for democracy support.
